Evernote Founder Launches Airtime, Transforming Video Meetings
Phil Libin, the founder of Evernote, is revolutionizing video meetings with the launch of Airtime, a new suite of tools designed to make online interactions more engaging and professional. Formerly known as mmhmm, the company unveiled Airtime Camera and Airtime Creator on Thursday, aiming to address the common pitfalls of remote meetings, such as casual attire, distracting backgrounds, and disengaged participants.
Airtime: A New Era for Online Presentations
Airtime Creator allows users to present slides in a more dynamic way, with up to 10 people appearing on screen simultaneously. This tool builds upon mmhmm's original offering, allowing presenters to be the focus while customizing the look, background, content, and layout of their presentations.

Airtime Camera: Stand Out in Any Video Call
Airtime Camera enhances the user's appearance in video calls across platforms like Zoom, Teams, Meet, and Webex. Users can customize their backgrounds, add logos, and react with visuals or GIFs, increasing visibility and reinforcing brand identity.

From mmhmm to Airtime: A Seamless Transition
The rebranding from mmhmm to Airtime reflects the company's expanded vision for online communication. Existing mmhmm desktop users will automatically receive the updated app and both new tools. Web users will see the change immediately.
Backed by Sequoia Capital, SoftBank Vision Fund, and others, Airtime has raised $100 million in funding. Airtime Camera is free until August 1st, after which it will be available for a one-time purchase of $20. Airtime Creator is available as a $10 monthly subscription with a free trial.
