Gemini can also remember user preferences, such as preferred languages for contacts, and handle translations automatically. It can even find restaurants along a route, filtering by specific criteria like "taco places with vegan options," leveraging Google's extensive listings and reviews.

Google is also introducing "Gemini Live," an always-on conversational AI. Drivers and passengers can engage in open-ended conversations on various topics, from travel planning and recipe brainstorming to historical discussions.
