Intel CCO Christoph Schell Announces Resignation

Intel's Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Christoph Schell, is leaving the company, effective June 30, 2025. An SEC filing revealed Schell's decision to resign and pursue another career opportunity. He informed Intel of his departure on Monday.

Schell joined Intel in February 2022, overseeing sales, marketing, and communications, reporting directly to the CEO's office. His prior experience includes roles as Chief Commercial Officer at HP, Executive Vice President of Growth Markets at Philips, and brand management at Procter & Gamble.

Schell's Departure Amidst Intel Transformation

This announcement comes during a period of significant change at Intel under CEO Lip-Bu Tan. Recent moves include restructuring efforts, spinning off non-core business units, selling a majority stake in the Altera semiconductor business, and streamlining the executive structure. Tan also appointed a new AI chief and announced plans for workforce reductions.

Other recent developments include a mandatory four-day in-office policy for employees and a reversal of the planned spin-off of Intel Capital, the company's corporate venture capital arm.

Intel has not yet announced Schell's replacement or commented on his departure.
