Manus AI Raises $75 Million in Series B Funding, Hits $500 Million Valuation

Chinese artificial intelligence startup Manus AI has secured $75 million in a Series B funding round led by Benchmark, catapulting the company to a $500 million valuation. This significant investment follows a previous round where Manus AI raised over $10 million from investors including Tencent and HSG (formerly Sequoia China).

The company plans to utilize the new funding to expand its operations into new markets, including the United States, Japan, and the Middle East. Manus AI focuses on developing tools related to AI agents, aiming to streamline various tasks across different industries.

Manus AI gained attention earlier this year with the launch of a demo for a general AI agent. The company subsequently introduced paid subscription plans ranging from $39 to $199 per month.

This latest funding round represents a five-fold increase in Manus AI's valuation, highlighting the growing interest and investment in the AI agent space. The company's expansion plans signal a strong belief in the potential of their technology to disrupt global markets.
