Mountain Dew Unveils New Logo with Multi-Channel Marketing Blitz

Mountain Dew has officially launched its refreshed logo with a comprehensive marketing campaign. The rollout includes a new commercial, a Dickies collaboration, a tattoo sweepstakes, and more.

Revitalized Jingle and Retro Vibe

A 30-second commercial showcases the new logo and revives the classic "Gimme a Dew" jingle with a modern twist. The ad features outdoor adventures, highlighting the brand's focus on refreshment and the outdoors.

Tattoo Sweepstakes and Exclusive TikTok Merch

Mountain Dew is offering fans with its old logo tattooed a chance to win an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas for a fresh tattoo of the updated design. Fans can enter by posting a photo of their old tattoo on social media, tagging the brand, and using #DoTheDewSweepstakes.

The brand also partnered with Dickies to create a limited-edition workwear shirt. The shirt, featuring vintage Mountain Dew logos and patches, is available exclusively on TikTok Shop bundled with Mountain Dew Minis.

Drone Shows and Vegas Sphere Activation

Further amplifying the launch, Mountain Dew is planning drone shows across the country, including some of the largest to date in Illinois, Iowa, and Utah. The brand will also have a presence at the Sphere in Las Vegas from May 2-9.

A Nod to Heritage with a Modern Twist

The new logo, first unveiled in October, features the brand's name in a retro, three-dimensional font, replacing the abbreviated "Mtn Dew" used for over a decade. This refresh aims to blend Mountain Dew's heritage with a contemporary look.

This campaign follows other notable marketing efforts by Mountain Dew, including claiming "Mountain Time" and offering moving reimbursements, and a Flamin' Hot flavor launch centered around Hell, Michigan. The brand continues to leverage unique and engaging tactics to connect with its audience.

The new logo rollout comes as parent company PepsiCo reported a 1.8% year-over-year decrease in net revenue in Q1 2025. The North American beverage unit also saw a 3% decline in volumes. This context underscores the importance of Mountain Dew's efforts to revitalize its brand and engage consumers.
