Pinterest Expands Inclusion Fund for 2025
Pinterest has announced an expanded Inclusion Fund program for 2025, focusing on supporting small businesses and content creators from underrepresented communities. The program aims to connect these businesses and creators in the beauty, fashion, and lifestyle sectors with Pinterest users seeking fresh ideas and products.
Expanded Reach and Eligibility
The program is expanding to more regions in 2025, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina, the U.K., Germany, France, India, Australia, Japan, and Indonesia.
Eligible creators and brands must meet the following criteria:
- Create content supporting Pinterest's inclusive product tools, such as skin tone and body type ranges.
- Create content within the fashion, beauty, or lifestyle verticals.
- Be 18 years of age or older.
- Be an active content creator on at least two other social media platforms.
- Seek to grow content creation skills on Pinterest.
- Commit to office hours and program sessions.
Previously, eligibility required businesses to be at least 50% owned and operated by individuals from underrepresented communities or stock at least 70% of their products from sources supporting these consumers. The updated criteria now focus on utilizing Pinterest's inclusive features.
Program Benefits and Past Success
Accepted participants will receive training and resources to optimize their organic content for growth and discoverability on Pinterest.
Launched in 2021, the Inclusion Fund has supported over 350 content producers, driving significant success on the platform. Last year's participants saw a 250% increase in Pin saves and a 147x increase in outbound clicks.
Pinterest highlights that users who utilize inclusive features save 75% more Pins than those who don't, demonstrating the potential for connection and amplification for creators.
