NotebookLM Arrives on Mobile: Pre-order Now for Android and iOS

Google's AI-powered note-taking and research assistant, NotebookLM, is coming to mobile devices. The Android and iOS apps are available for pre-order and are expected to launch on May 20.

Previously only accessible on desktop, NotebookLM empowers students, professionals, and researchers to understand complex information more effectively. The app offers smart summaries and allows users to ask questions about their documents and other materials.

Key Features of NotebookLM:

  • Smart Summaries: Condense lengthy documents into concise summaries.
  • Q&A: Ask questions about your uploaded materials and get AI-powered answers.
  • Audio Overviews: Generate AI podcasts of your notes to review complex topics on the go.

The mobile apps will allow users to create new notebooks, view existing ones, and upload source materials directly from their devices. Users can also listen to their generated Audio Overviews on the go.

In addition to smartphones, NotebookLM will also be available on iPads and tablets, providing a larger screen for multitasking.

Pre-order the NotebookLM app on the App Store or pre-register on Google Play. The app will automatically download to your device on May 20, coinciding with the first day of Google I/O. More details about NotebookLM are expected to be revealed at the annual conference.
