World Expands Biometric ID Verification with Tinder and Visa Partnerships

Biometric ID company World, known for its Orb eye-scanning device, announced key partnerships to expand its technology's reach. These collaborations aim to simplify user sign-ups and showcase the versatility of World's identity verification system.

Worldcoin Verification for Tinder Japan

World is partnering with Match Group to bring its identity verification system to Tinder users in Japan. This integration will allow users to verify their identities using World's technology.

Streamlined Logins with Kalshi and Morpho

World is also collaborating with prediction market startup Kalshi and decentralized lending platform Morpho. Users can now seamlessly log in to these platforms using their existing World IDs.

Introducing the World Card: Bridging Crypto and Fiat

Perhaps the most significant announcement is the upcoming World Card, developed in partnership with Visa. Launching later this year in the U.S., this card will link to the World App and enable users to spend their digital assets wherever Visa is accepted. The card will automatically convert cryptocurrency to fiat currency as needed and may offer rewards for select AI services.

Expanding Access to Biometric ID

Founded in 2019, World has raised substantial funding and created digital IDs for millions. These new partnerships represent a significant step towards mainstream adoption of its biometric technology.

The World Card, in particular, offers a compelling bridge between the world of cryptocurrency and traditional finance. This innovative approach to digital spending could significantly impact how users interact with their digital assets.
