Meta Enhances Edits App with Creative Video Editing Tools
Meta continues to improve its Edits video editing app with new features designed to simplify video creation and enhance creativity. The latest update introduces beat markers and expands the Inspiration tab.
Beat Markers for Seamless Audio Syncing
Edits now includes beat markers, allowing users to easily synchronize video clips with the rhythm of their chosen audio. This feature simplifies the process of creating dynamic, engaging videos that move in time with the music.

This handy tool makes it significantly easier to time and place footage accurately, eliminating the need for manual editing to match the music. Similar beat-matching tools are available in other popular video editing apps like TikTok's CapCut.
Expanded Inspiration Tab and New Creative Options
Meta has also enhanced the Inspiration tab within Edits. This update makes it easier for users to find and utilize audio from other clips and replicate trending video styles in their own creations.

Additionally, Edits now offers more animation and filter options, providing users with greater creative control over their video projects.

Future Updates and AI-Powered Features
Meta remains committed to regularly updating Edits. Planned future features include AI-generated background editing, still image animation, and collaboration tools. Meta is also exploring AI features that could allow users to change the entire context of a video clip.

These upcoming advancements, particularly the AI-powered features, have the potential to make Edits an essential video editing tool. While the app is currently free, some future AI features may require a paid subscription.
These new Edits features are available in the latest version of the app.
